Compliance Evaluations
-These reports display detailed information about all types of compliance evaluations that have been finalized (reviewed and approved by a supervisor). These are typically planned site inspections but may include complaint investigations, sampling efforts, compliance assistance and in-office reviews of gathered or submitted data and information. These are typically related to a single program but may be multi-program activities. When multiple programs are involved these reports will usually reflect each program's concerns as a new record, but with the same activity identifiers and date. The different reports within this category allow the user to search for inspections by Program Interest ID, County, Municipality, Enforcement Program, Site ID and Date Range.

Enforcement Actions

-These reports display detailed information on enforcement actions issued by the Department. These will describe violations and in some cases specify penalties. The different reports within this category allow the user to search for inspections by Program Interest ID, County, Municipality, Enforcement Program, Site ID and Date Range

Violations -These reports display details of violations that have been observed by Department staff and were included in one or more Enforcement Actions. The different reports within this category allow the user to search for violations by Program Interest ID, County, Municipality, Enforcement Program, Site ID and Date Range.

Initiatives - These reports display information on inspections and enforcement actions related to specific compliance and enforcement initiatives taken by the department. Some initiatives have involved partner agencies such as local health agencies or the State Department of Health and Senior Services. Generally only Department of Environmental Protection activities are reflected in these reports. This section also shows information on activities performed by the Department's Waterway Enforcement Team. The team is comprised of land use, water and waste inspectors who partner with citizens, local baykeepers, riverkeepers and environmental groups to conduct boat and foot surveillance of selected waterways throughout the state looking for solid waste, water and land use violations
