• Site Inspections - 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 Site Inspection Dashboard by Date Site Inspections are compliance evaluations conducted through site visits. The Department anticipated and planned for the vast majority of these activities, which typically occur at known regulated sites. Most often these inspections are single-day, single-inspector efforts, but may involve more than one inspector and may take more than one day. Each inspection typically evaluates the entire site for a single program's regulations, but may be more broad (multiple programs) or less broad (only a focused part of the site or specific regulations). Site Inspections are counted on the date of the site visit. Details for any activities counted in this category can be accessed through the Compliance Evaluation reports although not all compliance evaluations are considered to be Site Inspections.

The Department anticipated and planned for the vast majority of these activities, which typically originate from known regulated sites. Submittal Reviews are almost always limited to a single program's regulations and generally pertain to a specific regulation. Submittal Reviews are counted on the date of the review which may vary greatly from the date submittals were due or received. Details for any activities counted in this category can be accessed through the Compliance Evaluation reports although not all compliance evaluations are considered to be Submittal Reviews.

• Enforcement Actions - 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 Enforcement Actions Dashboard by Date Enforcement Actions are the documents issued to violators that spell out the details of one or more alleged violations, any steps needed to correct them, any penalties, and the schedules for compliance and/or penalty payment. Enforcement Actions may be informal notices or formal documents recognized by the courts. Enforcement actions can address multiple violations of varied regulations over time but are typically limited to a single program's concerns from a single compliance evaluation at a single site. Enforcement Actions are counted on the date they are made effective, most often this is the date of receipt by the violator.
